My Approach to Treating Depression


As a Clinical Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist, I use an integrated, neuroscience-informed approach to help lift you out of the depressive cycle gently, effectively, and at a pace that feels right for you.

I combine:


  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – to challenge negative thinking loops and build healthier internal dialogue.
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) – Unlike traditional approaches that dwell on the past, SFBT is present- and future-oriented. It helps you clarify what you want life to look like and builds on your existing strengths to get there. With a focus on rapid, meaningful results, it’s an empowering and practical path forward, often in fewer sessions
  • Clinical Hypnotherapy – to access the subconscious and reprogram the underlying beliefs and emotional triggers fuelling depression.
  • Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) – to shift mental patterns and reintroduce feelings of motivation, connection, and self-worth.
  • Neuroscience – to engage neuroplasticity, the brain’s capacity to change itself, so you can create lasting emotional resilience. I'll teach you not just how your mind works, but how to make it work for you!


This tailored approach doesn’t just mask symptoms - it helps rebuild your mental and emotional foundation from the inside out.
